Probation Service Officer - HMP Lancaster Farms
You will manage a caseload of medium and lower risk people on probation before and after sentence, assessing and managing risks while supporting rehabilitation. You will provide case management support, produce clear and accurate reports, and work closely with courts, prisons, and other justice agencies. Day to day, you will balance practical guidance on issues like housing and employment with active listening and empathy to help individuals turn their lives around. You will work within the Probation Service alongside supportive colleagues in various operational settings.
