Procurement Lead (Fixed Term until 31st March 2028)
The Procurement Lead provides contract and commercial expertise to support effective contracting across the Housing Ombudsman Service through robust governance and risk management. The role focuses on end-to-end procurement with an emphasis on contracting and the post-award lifecycle, ensuring compliance with the Procurement Act 2023. Responsibilities include managing contract set-up, leading performance reporting, and handling variations, extensions, and dispute resolution to protect value for money. The postholder works closely with project leads, contract owners, and the Procurement Team to shape fit-for-purpose contract terms and secure commercial benefits.
