Regional Director for North West
The Regional Director for North West leads Department for Education delivery across the region, managing a team of around 88 colleagues to improve outcomes for children, families, and learners. They drive school improvement, oversee academy trust performance, and lead intervention work in children's social care and special educational needs and disabilities. The role connects national policy to local delivery by advising ministers and building effective partnerships with local authorities and educational trusts. Additionally, the postholder leads a national cross-cutting priority area within the Regions Group to support consistent delivery.
