Regulatory Analyst
You will lead the provision of robust analysis to inform the Maritime and Coastguard Agency's regulatory programme and support effective policy delivery within the maritime sector. Your day-to-day work involves delivering impact assessments, post-implementation reviews, and quantifying the economic impact of regulations while ensuring alignment with HM Treasury guidance. You will collaborate closely with policy, operational, and analytical colleagues across the Agency and the wider Department for Transport to build shared understanding and strengthen analytical capability. This role provides critical evidence-based advice to ensure regulations, codes of practice, and guidance maintain maritime safety and environmental protection standards.
