Senior Corporate Finance Analyst
You will lead defined tasks and workstreams within the regulation and financing of major water infrastructure projects. You will assess project financing proposals, conduct commercial analysis, and support investor engagement to secure value for customers. Working closely with water companies, investors, and colleagues across Ofwat, you will translate complex financial matters into clear recommendations. This role sits within Ofwat's Major Projects Team to help deliver critical capital projects in the water sector.
What they're looking for
- At least two years experience in infrastructure or large-scale project financing
- Understanding of regulated utilities, private credit, project finance, or corporate finance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret data for decision-making
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for non-technical audiences
- Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with diverse stakeholders
Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Irish, Commonwealth, EU and Turkish nationals with the relevant right to work or EU Settlement Scheme status.
Selection process
Sifting takes place in the week commencing 02 November 2026. Interviews are held via Microsoft Teams and include a presentation.
