Senior DevOps Engineer
As a Senior DevOps Engineer in Cabinet Office Digital, you will design, develop, and implement custom digital solutions to support critical business functions and improve public services. You will build and maintain continuous integration and deployment pipelines, write clean and secure code, and manage cloud infrastructure while helping reduce reliance on legacy technology. Working alongside multidisciplinary teams, technical architects, and junior engineers, you will champion modern agile methods, mentor colleagues, and ensure the resilience and security of our systems.
What they're looking for
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms specifically AWS and cloud service integration
- Experience developing technical stories using TDD, CI/CD, and DevOps
- Proficiency in Python and JavaScript alongside web frameworks like Django and Node
- Experience with relational database management systems such as PostgreSQL
- Understanding of common security vulnerabilities and threat mitigation practices
Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Irish, Commonwealth, EU and Turkish nationals with appropriate right to work or settled status.
Selection process
Expected sift date week commencing 5th October 2026 and interview date week commencing 19th October 2026. Interviews may be conducted face to face or by video.
