Senior Emergency Preparedness Manager
The Senior Emergency Preparedness Manager leads the delivery of an emergency preparedness, resilience and response portfolio within the National Response Centre, acting as the UK Health Security Agency's public health emergency operations centre. The role involves managing incident coordination activities, providing tactical advice, leading complex projects, and developing policies to strengthen organisational preparedness. The post holder collaborates with internal teams, government departments, and external resilience partners while participating in an out-of-hours on-call rota to support 24/7 response functions. Working in a pressured environment, they balance strategic priorities with operational delivery to protect public health.

Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Irish, Commonwealth, EU/EEA and Swiss nationals with settled status, and Turkish nationals under the Ankara Agreement.
Selection process
