Senior Financial Accountant
This senior financial accountant role sits within the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency, where you will provide expert financial advice and ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations. You will collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to deliver accurate financial reporting, manage fixed asset records, and maintain ledger controls. Working closely within a high-performing finance team, you will support strategic priorities, guide business change activities, and contribute to continuous improvement across the agency. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include preparing annual reports, managing financial returns for consolidation, and serving as a lead authority on financial reporting frameworks.

- Experience applying IFRS, FReM or statutory reporting frameworks
- Experience using SAP or similar financial systems in a large organisation

Qualifications
- Fully qualified CCAB or equivalent Accountant

Selection process
Sift takes place week commencing 26 October 2026. Interviews will be held week commencing 9 November 2026 via Microsoft Teams and will include a presentation.
