Senior Information and Cyber Security Officer (5063)
You will drive the security risk and assurance programme at Social Security Scotland, helping to strengthen governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks. Day to day, you will identify and mitigate cyber risks, lead security policies and third-party assurance activities, and provide expert advice to help stakeholders make auditable decisions. You will also contribute to security projects, support incident response, and help build security awareness across the organisation. Working in the Digital Risk and Security branch, you will partner closely with the Cyber Security Risk and Assurance Manager and lead a small team of security professionals.

- Expertise in governance, risk management, and assurance using ISO 27001 and NIST 800-53
- Proven ability to identify, analyse, and mitigate cyber risks
- Experience leading policy, compliance, and third-party assurance activities
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
