Senior Insight Manager
As a Senior Insight Manager at the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government, you will lead the design, commissioning, and delivery of high-quality insight, research, and evaluation projects. Working alongside communications, policy, and digital colleagues, you will translate complex evidence into clear, actionable recommendations for senior leaders and special advisers. You will help drive the department's transition towards a more digitally-led, audience-centred communications model by championing evidence-based decision-making. Operating within a small and ambitious team, you will act as a trusted adviser to shape campaigns addressing critical social and housing challenges.
What they're looking for
- Experience commissioning and delivering qualitative and quantitative research
- Strong understanding of social research techniques and evaluation methods
- Experience presenting complex evidence to influence senior stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication and project management skills
- Knowledge of current traditional and social media landscapes
Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree at 2:1, or 2:2 with a postgraduate degree, in a social science
- Alternatively, undergraduate degree with at least four years of social research practice
Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Irish, Commonwealth, EU and Turkish nationals with appropriate status or right to work.
Selection process
Sifting is envisaged the week commencing 19/10/26. Interviews are envisaged the week commencing 02/11/26 via videocall and include a presentation.
