Senior Specialist Engineer - Electrical
As a Senior Specialist Engineer at Ofgem, you will apply your expertise to decisions that keep electricity flowing reliably across Great Britain. You will act as a trusted technical authority, advising and challenging senior leaders while helping shape network investments and regulatory processes. Working alongside a wide range of experts, you will tackle complex technical challenges to support the transition to a net zero energy system. Your work will directly inform important regulatory decisions and protect energy consumers.

- Extensive background in specialist engineering for energy networks
- Working knowledge of commercial and regulatory energy frameworks
- Strong analytical skills to validate and analyse complex data

Nationality requirements
This job is broadly open to UK nationals, Republic of Ireland nationals, Commonwealth citizens with right to work, EU/EEA/Swiss nationals with EUSS status, and Turkish nationals under the Ankara Agreement.
