HM Specialist Inspector of Health and Safety (Mechanical Engineering)
This role involves working as a specialist mechanical engineering inspector within the Health and Safety Executive to help essential industries operate safely. You will inspect various workplaces, investigate mechanical engineering incidents, and provide expert opinions and evidence for legal and regulatory proceedings. You will collaborate with regulatory colleagues, industry operators, and technical staff to ensure engineering risks are actively managed and reduced. The position requires you to apply technical knowledge to identify immediate risks and influence organisations to comply with the law.

Qualifications
- Honours degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Chartered Engineer status
- Full member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE)
- Full UK driving licence
