Senior Technical Architect
You will own the infrastructure that transforms GOV.UK data into actionable intelligence as a Senior Technical Architect in the Insights and Analytics team. You will define architectural strategies, design scalable data platforms, and serve as a key bridge between your team and the wider technical community. You will work alongside product and delivery managers to ensure technical architectures are robust, secure, and aligned with government standards. Additionally, you will mentor engineers and foster a culture of technical excellence.

- Design and assure large-scale technical architectures for complex data platforms
- Deep understanding of modern data engineering principles and data modeling
- Expert-level knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and familiarity with AWS
- Strong experience with web data collection methodologies like GTM and GA
- Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Ireland, Commonwealth, EU, and Turkish nationals with the right to work in the UK under the EUSS or Ankara Agreement.
Selection process
Sift completion by 30th October 2026, with phone screens in the week of 9th November 2026 and panel interviews in the week of 16th November 2026 via video format.
