Technical Architect
The successful candidate will work in the Digital Service team within the Insolvency Service, maintaining, improving, and modernising line-of-business applications used by internal and external organisations and the general public. They will provide architectural expertise across products, platforms, and delivery teams, balancing immediate delivery needs with the sustainable evolution of the estate. Working closely with the Principal Technical Architect and lead developers, they will establish technical standards, architectural principles, and governance processes to ensure secure, scalable, and resilient services. The role involves designing target architectures, supporting technical governance, driving the adoption of shared platforms, and engaging with senior stakeholders on strategic technology matters.
