Tax Technical Adviser
This role involves leading complex and high-profile technical work relating to direct tax matters within HM Revenue and Customs. You will develop deep technical knowledge of legislation and case law to provide authoritative advice on avoidance cases, disputes, and litigation. Working closely with legal teams, HM Treasury, and other government stakeholders, you will help shape tax policy and ensure consistent decision-making across the department. You will also respond to parliamentary questions, ministerial correspondence, and support senior stakeholders on critical tax issues.

Qualifications
- HMRC's Tax Specialist Programme or predecessor qualifications
- Chartered Tax Adviser with direct taxes options
- Advanced Diploma in International Taxation
- Full membership of a Consultative Committee of Accountancy Bodies
