West Midlands Region - PQiP Senior Probation Officer
The Senior Probation Officer manages and leads staff within a local delivery unit or operational unit to ensure high standards of practice and performance. This role involves supporting team development, managing financial resources, and ensuring offender managers properly assess and manage risk while maintaining public protection standards. The job holder works closely with internal teams, external partners, and key stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and deliver organisational aims. Duties also include safeguarding children, managing attendance and employee relations, and contributing to multi-agency arrangements.

Qualifications
- Probation Qualification Framework Graduate Diploma/Honours Degree
- Level 5 Diploma in Probation Practice
- Diploma in Probation Studies
- Diploma in Social Work (with Probation Option)
