This role drives the adoption of artificial intelligence within the Department for Culture, Media and Sport and across the wider government. The postholder works closely with the Head of Data and AI, the Chief Scientific Advisers area, and the analysis community to deliver the artificial intelligence adoption strategy. Key responsibilities include establishing governance and assurance pathways, maintaining oversight of developing artificial intelligence tools, and ensuring technical alignment with the Chief Technology Officer area. The position offers a significant opportunity to shape how digital, data, and technology support priority outcomes across the department.
