Anglican Chaplain
The job holder will provide faith, belief, and pastoral care to prisoners and staff of their own tradition while understanding other faiths as part of a multifaith chaplaincy team. They will plan and lead worship, provide guidance, and support people of other faiths or none. The role involves building community links to help offenders resettle and supporting crisis resolution. The person will work with colleagues to ensure the delivery of faith and pastoral care policies within the prison.

- Communicate and write clearly in English
- Demonstrate knowledge of Anglican theology and practice
Qualifications
- Ordained member of the Anglican Communion or Porvoo Agreement churches
- Formal endorsement in the form of the licence of the Diocesan Bishop
- Reader, Religious Brother or Sister, or Church Army Evangelist
Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Irish, Commonwealth, EU and Turkish nationals with relevant right to work or settled status.
