Crown Court Clerks ensure criminal court hearings run smoothly by speaking publicly in court, communicating with judges, and managing daily court sessions. They produce accurate, time-critical documents such as court orders, take verdicts, and record hearing outcomes. Working as part of a team, they support colleagues and service users while handling sensitive and complex matters with emotional resilience. Staff receive structured training to develop their skills and use digital systems to support justice delivery.
