You will work on the front line of the justice system as a bailiff, visiting people in their homes and businesses to carry out court orders. Day to day, you will explain court decisions, manage challenging and emotionally charged situations with empathy, and plan your own workload. You will work independently or in a small team while collaborating closely with colleagues across HM Courts and Tribunals Service for support. The role involves working away from an office environment using either your own vehicle or a lease car.
