Crown Prosecutor
Crown Prosecutors prepare and present prosecution cases in the magistrates' court, working directly with the police, court staff, and defence solicitors. You will review evidence, decide whether cases should proceed, and explain decisions to magistrates, victims, and witnesses. The role is an entry-level legal position that involves daily court attendance and provides structured training and career progression. You will collaborate within multiskilled teams to deliver justice while supporting victims and witnesses through contested matters.

Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor or Barrister in England and Wales
- Current practising certificate for England and Wales

Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Republic of Ireland, Commonwealth, EU, Swiss, Norwegian, Icelandic, Liechtenstein, and Turkish nationals with relevant right to work or EUSS status.
Selection process
Applications close on 30 September 2026. Interviews and legal assessments take place via Microsoft Teams between 19 and 23 October 2026.
