Deputy IT Asset Team Manager
The IT Asset Manager leads the effective management and governance of the organisation's technology assets within the Technology Division. This role ensures hardware, software, and associated assets are accurately tracked, controlled, and maintained throughout their lifecycle to support operational delivery and regulatory compliance. The postholder manages the IT Asset Management team, driving continuous improvement, stakeholder engagement, and accurate record-keeping within ServiceNow. Because physical IT assets are managed on-site, the role requires frequent attendance at the Bootle headquarters and a hands-on approach to inventory control and secure equipment handling.

- Working knowledge of ITIL service management processes
- Experience leading, managing, and developing staff
- Practical application of IT Service Management and IT Asset Management
- Proficiency in using ServiceNow and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong attention to detail for maintaining accurate records
Qualifications
- ITIL Foundation certification, or willingness to achieve in post
Nationality requirements
Applicants must have 3 years continuous residency in the UK up to the date of the application and Home Office approval for indefinite leave to remain.
