DNO WHG-Safety Quality Assurance Manager
The Quality Manager provides independent quality assurance across the Warhead Group, supporting nuclear warhead approval authorities and safety leadership. The role involves managing the Quality Management System, overseeing internal audits, and leading a team of quality specialists to maintain high standards of safety and governance. You will work closely with regulators, the Atomic Weapons Establishment, commercial teams, and wider Ministry of Defence organizations. The position is vital for ensuring nuclear warhead operations and transport comply with strict regulatory and management frameworks.
What they're looking for
- Two years experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Management
- Knowledge of ISO9001 standards
- Experience planning and delivering internal audits
- Ability to lead and develop a team of quality specialists
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Qualifications
- ISO9001 Lead Auditor certification
