Economic Advisor
The Economic Advisor partners with key policy stakeholders to influence and shape policy design by leading and delivering high-quality economic analysis. The role sits in the Economy and Strategic Analysis team within the Department for Business and Trade, providing vital insights on economic growth, productivity, and industrial policy to support ministers and senior officials. Day to day, the postholder works collaboratively with strategy and delivery teams to co-design evidence-based policy interventions and respond flexibly to emerging economic priorities. They translate complex economic analysis into clear messages for various audiences and help shape the team's ongoing work programme.

Qualifications
- First or upper second-class honours degree in economics
- Postgraduate degree in economics
Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Irish, Commonwealth, EU and Turkish nationals with relevant right to work or EUSS status.
