This role leads the Venture Capital Unit within the Office for Investment, acting as the UK government's centre of excellence for international venture capital. The postholder directs a high-performing team to attract global venture capital, unlock investment for innovative UK companies, and build strategic partnerships across government and industry. Day-to-day work involves engaging with international investors, shaping sector-focused programmes, and coordinating ministerial interactions on venture capital issues.

Nationality requirements
