Head of Agency Financial Accounts Team
You will lead a talented team of finance professionals responsible for delivering the Insolvency Service's Annual Report and Accounts, covering approximately one billion pounds of financial activity. You will oversee statutory accounts, consolidation returns, and financial reporting while working closely with the National Audit Office and HM Treasury to ensure prompt and accurate reporting. In addition, you will provide technical accounting leadership by implementing new accounting standards, advising on change programmes, and driving continuous improvement. You will collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to turn complex financial requirements into practical solutions and shape important business decisions.
