Head of Monetary Policy
The Head of Monetary Policy leads analysis on the economic and operational implications of monetary policy decisions and potential future policy tools. The role involves advising the Chancellor, Special Advisers, and the Treasury's Executive Management Board on the UK monetary policy framework and developments. Day to day, you will coordinate monetary and fiscal policy, manage stakeholder engagement with the Bank of England, and line manage staff members. You will be joining an energetic community of analysts and policy advisers at HM Treasury.

Qualifications
- Economics qualification to at least an undergraduate level, or equivalent
Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Republic of Ireland, Commonwealth, EU/EEA/Swiss (with EUSS status), and Turkish nationals.
Selection process
Shortlisting on 15th October 2026. Interviews will take place the week commencing 26th October 2026.
