HMICFRS Associate Rejoiners
Associate Inspectors work on short-term engagements across policing, fire, and rescue inspections to provide specialist skills and extra resilience. Day to day, you will collaborate with inspection teams, carry out fieldwork and evidence gathering, and draft balanced reports for senior stakeholders. You will work closely with portfolio directors, chief officers, and inspection leads while acting as an ambassador for the inspectorate. This home-based role involves regular travel and occasional overnight stays for inspection activities.

- Previous experience as an Associate for HMICFRS within the last 12 months
- Experience in inspection activities and gathering complex data
- Ability to draft well-considered and balanced reports
- Effective oral and written communication skills for senior audiences
- Operational or inspection experience in a specialist policing area
