HMP Winchester - Neurodiversity Support Manager
The Neurodiversity Support Manager leads on supporting prisoners with needs arising from neurodivergence to help them progress through education, skills and work pathways. You will collaborate closely with prison staff, education providers, and community probation teams to develop strategies, track prisoner progress, and ensure appropriate adjustments are made. The role involves analysing data, raising awareness, and upskilling staff to foster a whole-prison approach to neurodiversity support. This is a non-operational management role based within the prison establishment.

- Experience in a specialist neurodiversity or SEND role
- Knowledge of education inspection frameworks and criteria
- Substantial teaching experience and resource development
- History of building effective multi-agency partnerships
- Experience in implementing change and setting targets
Qualifications
- PGCE, Cert Ed or Level 5 in Education and Training
- Level 4 Certificate in Supporting SEND or ALN learners
- Level 4 TAQA qualifications or Level 7 Diploma in Assessing/Teaching
Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Republic of Ireland, Commonwealth, EU, EEA, Swiss and Turkish nationals with relevant status or right to work.
