Inspector of Marine Accidents (Engineering / Nautical)
As an Inspector of Marine Accidents, you will lead investigations into accidents and incidents involving vessels to improve safety at sea. You will deploy to accident sites at short notice, gather and analyse evidence, interview witnesses, and produce detailed reports and safety recommendations. Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will also provide specialist technical expertise and represent the Marine Accident Investigation Branch externally. This role involves worldwide travel and working in challenging environments.

Qualifications
- STCW 95 III/2 (Unlimited) CoC or STCW 95 A-II/2 (Deck) Unlimited
- Full UK driving licence

Selection process
Sift takes place week commencing 05/10/2026. Interviews take place week commencing 09/11/2026 in person at the Southampton office.
