Land Use Advisor
You will inform and encourage farmers and land managers to consider how woodland creation and management can help meet their business objectives and tackle the climate emergency. You will meet landowners to conduct reviews, build local networks, attend agricultural shows, and manage customer journeys from initial engagement to project progression. Working closely with area team colleagues and reporting to the Regional Promotion and Engagement Manager, you will help accelerate the rate of woodland creation in England.

- Sound technical understanding of land management and agriculture
- Experience of advising on and designing land management proposals
- Strong interpersonal, influencing, and relationship-building skills
- Highly organised and proactive communicator
- Team player competent with IT systems and Microsoft Office
Qualifications
- Agricultural, environmental or forestry degree or equivalent qualification
- Full current UK driving licence
- FACTS qualification
- BASIS qualification
Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Republic of Ireland, Commonwealth, EU, Swiss, Norwegian, Icelandic, Liechtenstein, and Turkish nationals with relevant status.
Selection process
Interviews will be face to face held in the Cheshire office, and will include a task or presentation.
