Operational Support Grade - Advance Into Justice (East Midlands)
As part of the prison support team, your work will be varied and help to keep the prison moving smoothly and safely. You will carry out physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, long periods of standing, patrolling perimeter fences, managing gate security, and monitoring CCTV. You will also handle administrative duties like processing prisoner property, managing mail, and operating the prison radio and telephone systems. You will work within a supportive team environment with full training provided, following fixed shift patterns that include days, nights, evenings, and weekends.
