Operational Support Grade - Advance Into Justice (North East)
As an Operational Support Grade within His Majesty's Prison and Probation Service, you will help keep prisons running safely and smoothly through varied daily tasks. You will work as part of a supportive team carrying out security duties at gates, monitoring control rooms, processing mail, and supervising or escorting individuals. This active, hands-on role involves physical tasks, patrolling perimeter areas, and working rolling shift patterns that include nights, weekends, and holidays. The position is targeted at supporting armed forces service leavers, veterans, and their families into employment.
