This returners campaign enables former qualified probation officers who left the Civil Service within the last five years to rejoin the Probation Service. Returnees help keep the public safe and rehabilitate people on probation by resuming their former duties without undergoing a lengthy application process. Candidates work within the Kent, Surrey and Sussex region and collaborate with former colleagues and partner agencies. The scheme provides a fast-track reinstatement based on business need and previous employment history.

Qualifications
- Probation Officer qualification
- PQF Honours Degree/Graduate Diploma and Level 5 Diploma in Probation Practice
- Diploma in Probation Studies
- Diploma in Social Work (Probation option)
Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Irish, Commonwealth, EU/EEA and Turkish nationals with the right to work in the UK.
