Probation Officer Returners Campaign -North East
This is a returners scheme for former qualified probation officers to re-join the Probation Service to keep the public safe and rehabilitate people on probation. Successful applicants return through a fast-track process without a lengthy application form or interview if eligibility criteria are met. Candidates will work with former colleagues and be subject to pre-employment checks and a designated work base discussion. Options include full-time or part-time working on permanent or temporary contracts with flexible terms.
Qualifications
- Probation Officer qualification
- PQF Honours Degree/Graduate Diploma and Level 5 Diploma in Probation Practice
- Diploma in Probation Studies
- Diploma in Social Work (Probation option)
Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Republic of Ireland, Commonwealth, EU/EEA/Swiss nationals with EUSS status, and Turkish nationals under the Ankara Agreement.
