Project Security Service Lead
You will lead the delivery of project security advice, assurance, and governance across science and technology programmes. Working closely with project teams and senior stakeholders, you will manage security risks, ensure compliance with standards, and support secure delivery. You will coordinate specialist security expertise across cyber, physical, personnel, and operational disciplines while coaching colleagues. This senior role helps protect nationally important defence projects through expert security leadership and risk management.

- Strong knowledge of security risk management and assurance frameworks
- Ability to assess complex risks and provide practical solutions
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders and influencing senior decisions
- Understanding of supply chain, cyber, physical, and personnel security
Qualifications
- GCSEs or equivalent including English and Mathematics at Grade C or above

Selection process
Sifting takes place week commencing 9th November with interviews arranged on 25th November 2026. The interview includes a behavioural and technical assessment with a presentation.
