These senior leadership roles involve directing major portfolios across strategy and operations, policing policy, or crime reduction within the Home Office Public Safety Group. Post holders will collaborate closely with government ministers, senior officials, policing bodies, and external partners to deliver critical public safety outcomes and manage large budgets. Responsibilities include driving strategic reforms, overseeing high-profile programmes, ensuring strong financial management, and providing out-of-hours emergency response cover. Successful candidates will provide visible, systems-led leadership to inspire teams and achieve government priorities under high levels of public scrutiny.
