Radar Modeller
You will work as a radar modeller to provide expert advice and technical assurance on ballistic missile defence radar systems. Your day will involve leading and contributing to software development for system analysis, and using real-world data from Ministry of Defence assets. You will collaborate with project teams and customers to help them make informed, evidence-based technical decisions. This role is based within the Defence Science and Technology Laboratory to protect the UK from emerging security threats.

- Degree in Physics, Electronic Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science or Statistics
- Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly
- Proficiency in writing software using Python, C++ or Matlab
- Skill in managing deadlines and working collaboratively as part of a team

Nationality requirements
Open to UK nationals only. This job is not open to candidates who hold a dual nationality, and you must have resided in the UK for the past 10 years.
Selection process
Sifting takes place week commencing 2nd November with face-to-face interviews held from 16th November including a presentation.
