Regulator - Investigation and Enforcement
The Building Safety Regulator is looking for investigators to handle cases involving potential breaches of building safety laws. Day to day, you will gather and review evidence, conduct interviews under caution, and prepare files for legal proceedings or tribunals. You will also support victims and witnesses while working alongside internal and external stakeholders. Ultimately, your work helps secure lasting and positive improvements in building safety standards and industry culture.
What they're looking for
- Working knowledge of PACE and CPIA legislation
- Experience in regulatory or criminal investigations
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good understanding of information and operational security
- Ability to analyze complex information and data
Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Republic of Ireland, Commonwealth, and EU/EFTA nationals with settled status or right to work, plus qualifying Turkish nationals.
Selection process
Sift takes place week commencing 19th October 2026. Interviews are expected during the week commencing 26th October 2026.
