This fixed term role within the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs provides specialist employment services and expert advice on restructuring, redeployment, and redundancy. You will lead a dedicated operational HR team to manage workforce transformation activity, engage with trade unions, and ensure legal compliance. Working closely with human resources business partners, senior leaders, and legal advisors, you will deliver structured workforce changes and produce briefings for senior stakeholders. The position involves guiding complex individual cases, benchmarking best practices, and supporting a smooth employee experience throughout transformation.

This job is broadly open to UK nationals, nationals of the Republic of Ireland, Commonwealth citizens, EU/EEA/Swiss nationals with settled or pre-settled status, and Turkish nationals with accrued rights.
