Senior Analyst - Power Lead - Climate Change Committee
The Climate Change Committee is seeking a senior analyst to lead our work on decarbonising the power sector and shaping advice on carbon budgets. You will drive analytical projects, engage with diverse stakeholders across government and industry, and assess government progress against emissions targets. This role involves working closely with expert committees and the analytical secretariat to ensure the energy system supports Net Zero goals while remaining resilient to climate change.

- Excellent quantitative analytical and numeracy skills
- Experience working in the energy system or modelling
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage high-priority modelling projects
- Line management experience is desirable
Qualifications
- Degree or post-graduate degree in a numerate discipline
Nationality requirements
Open to UK, Irish, Commonwealth, EU, and Turkish nationals with relevant right to work or EUSS status.
Selection process
