Senior Cyber Security Analyst
You will join the Registers of Scotland cyber security team to protect the organisation during its digital transformation journey. Your day-to-day work involves detecting, investigating, and responding to cyber threats and security incidents using monitoring and analysis tools. You will collaborate closely with infrastructure, cloud, network, and development teams to strengthen security capabilities and resolve complex issues. Additionally, you will mentor colleagues and help shape a strong, organisation-wide security culture.
What they're looking for
- Experience in a Cyber Security Analyst, Security Operations, or Incident Response role
- Skill in developing and tuning security detections and alerting capabilities
- Practical experience with security technologies such as SIEM, XDR, or SOAR
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience of mentoring and supporting colleagues to develop capability
