Senior Data Scientist
The Senior Data Scientist works within the Health Protection Information, Systems and Data team to develop complex data science solutions and support public health operations. Day-to-day duties include building reproducible analytical pipelines, processing complex datasets, and collaborating with epidemiologists and digital specialists to inform decision-making. The role involves designing code-based solutions, deploying applications using OpenShift and Airflow, and communicating insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ultimately, the position bridges operational delivery, data engineering, and analytical capability to support frontline health services.
