Senior Economic Modeller (Energy Systems)
You will join Ofgem as a Senior Economic Modeller to help build and apply energy system models that inform regulatory and investment decisions shaping the UK's transition to Net Zero. Working alongside experienced economists and analysts, you will run and interpret complex models, translate insights into clear recommendations, and collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders like the National Electricity System Operator. This role is part of Ofgem's growing modelling capability, supporting major programmes across networks, flexibility, system operation and decarbonisation.

- Complex quantitative modelling experience in energy or infrastructure
- Ability to produce robust, transparent and reproducible analysis
- Strong written and oral communication skills for technical material
- Experience working collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nationality requirements
