Senior Lawyers (2 roles)
As a Senior Lawyer at the Gambling Commission, you will provide practical, solution-focused advice on complex criminal, licensing, regulatory, and public law matters. Working closely with colleagues and external stakeholders, you will set legal strategy on investigations, enforcement action, and litigation while mentoring and developing other lawyers. You will play a key role in supporting the Commission's objectives to keep crime out of gambling, protect consumers, and ensure the industry is fair and safe. This position sits at the heart of a multi-billion-pound sector, allowing you to handle high-stakes cases and deliver real-world results on issues of significant public interest.
What they're looking for
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with litigation rights
- Minimum five years PQE or equivalent experience
- Extensive prosecutorial experience in complex criminal investigations
- Strong leadership and people management skills
Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor holding a current practising certificate
- Chartered Legal Executive (CILEX Fellow with litigation rights)
