Legal Graduate Professional Placement Programme (12 months)
This graduate legal placement offers a 12-month opportunity to gain qualifying work experience within Ofwat's in-house legal team. You will work closely with policy teams, economists, and other regulatory experts to provide timely legal advice on matters affecting the water sector. Your day-to-day work will involve helping translate reform proposals into legislative instructions, assisting with enforcement cases, and supporting price review programmes. The role is designed to build your foundational legal skills while providing structured support towards taking the SQE1 examination.

Selection process
Video interviews close on 1st November 2026, followed by an in-person assessment centre in Birmingham during the week commencing 23rd November 2026.
