Senior Machine Learning Engineer
The Senior Machine Learning Engineer leads the development of machine learning engineering capability by turning data science and artificial intelligence opportunities into secure, production-grade services. In this role, you will work across multidisciplinary teams with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to translate complex challenges into scalable solutions. You will provide technical direction across the full machine learning lifecycle, from data preparation and model development through to deployment and continuous improvement. The post contributes to shaping the department's approach to AI by establishing engineering standards, championing responsible AI, and coaching practitioners.
What they're looking for
- Experience of leading the end-to-end machine learning lifecycle in production
- Strong programming and software engineering experience using languages like Python
- Experience in designing, developing and evaluating machine learning models
- Experience of MLOps and CI/CD practices including automated testing and deployment
- Experience of providing technical leadership and setting technical direction
