Senior Offshore Environmental Inspector
You will lead a team of Offshore Environmental Inspectors within the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations for UK oil and gas operations. Your day-to-day work involves developing work plans, assessing inspection and investigation programmes, and providing 24/7 incident response capability. You will collaborate closely with industry representatives, other government departments, and various stakeholder groups to maintain high environmental performance standards. This role offers an opportunity to directly shape environmental protection and support the UK's energy security and net zero goals.
