Senior Scientific Advisers
Senior Scientific Advisers work within the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs to put science and research at the heart of policy-making and decision-making. You will collaborate with internal colleagues, policy teams, academics, and external organizations to coordinate research fellowship programmes or manage expert advisory committees. The role involves translating complex scientific evidence into practical, real-world action to support environmental priorities and ministerial needs. Ultimately, you help ensure the department relies on high-quality evidence and strong relationships with the scientific community.
