Senior Software Engineer
This role involves working with other leads and senior management to develop and maintain Node.js applications and microservices at UK Export Finance. You will integrate these systems using APIs and webhooks, create technical documentation, and ensure applications follow best practices for security and data protection. The position requires effective communication with project stakeholders including customers, product managers, and other engineers to align on technical decisions. You will advocate for user-centric, agile approaches to deliver high-quality digital services that support the organisation's digital ambitions.
What they're looking for
- Experience with JavaScript, Node.js and Express.js
- Proficiency in Azure Cloud Computing and containerised microservices
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases including MongoDB and MSSQL
- Knowledge of automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and RESTful APIs
Qualifications
- Graduate level education in a related subject or relevant demonstrable experience
